Key Responsibilities -
1) Production & Demand Planning
- Assist in creating and maintaining production schedules based on demand
forecasts and available resources to ensure smooth production flow.
- Support monthly rolling plans and align production plans with sales
forecasts.
- Coordinate with production and conversion teams to ensure adherence to

2) Raw Material Planning
- Assess raw material requirements based on rolling demand plans and ensure
timely availability.
- Monitor raw material consumption patterns and support corrective actions in
planning.
- Ensure zero detention and demurrage through eƯicient planning, scheduling,
and coordination with procurement and logistics teams.
3) Inventory Management- Support determination of optimal inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-
progress, and finished goods to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.- Track slow-moving and non-moving inventory and assist in developing value
conversion or liquidation strategies.
- Monitor inventory movements across plants and warehouses.
4) Distribution & Customer Order Fulfilment
- Assist in preparing eƯicient distribution plans for inventory movement to
warehouses.
- Support allocation of inventory to customer orders to ensure service level
adherence.
- Participate in root cause analysis and resolution of customer service
deficiencies.
5) Cost Optimization
- Support cost reduction initiatives through value engineering and cost-benefit
analysis related to materials, transportation, storage, and packaging.
6) Data Analysis & Performance Tracking- Use statistical analysis tools to analyse demand, supply, and inventory data.
- Track, analyse, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) for the supply
planning function.
- Prepare dashboards and reports for management review.
7) Digitization & Systems
- Support digitization initiatives across supply planning processes.
- Assist in implementation and enhancement of SAP-based solutions related
to production planning, raw material scheduling, and MRP.
- Ensure data accuracy and system discipline within SAP.
8) Cross-functional Coordination
- Work closely with sales, marketing, production, procurement, logistics, and
finance teams to ensure alignment across supply chain operations.Skills & Competencies -
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Working knowledge of supply chain concepts, demand planning, and inventory
management
- Knowledge of SAP PP/MM. Experience in IBP tool will be an added advantage.
- Ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
