Key Responsibilities
Training Delivery & Coaching: Conduct structured classroom, virtual, and hands-on On-the-Job Training (OJT) for dealer technicians, service advisors, and workshop managers.
Curriculum & Content Development: Design technical training modules, diagnostic flowcharts, video tutorials, and practical lab exercises covering engine overhaul, complex electrical systems, and CAN-bus diagnostics.
Product Launch Readiness: Lead "Train the Trainer" (TTT) programs for new product introductions (NPI), product modifications, service campaigns, and software/ECU updates.
Diagnostic Skill Elevation: Coach technicians on advanced troubleshooting methodology to improve First Time Right (FTR) fix rates and reduce resolution time for complex field complaints.
Training Needs Analysis (TNA): Assess dealership technical capability gaps through field audits, complaint trends, and technician skill assessments to deploy targeted training interventions.
Certification & Evaluation: Manage technician skill grading, administer practical/theoretical assessments, and maintain certification records across the dealer network.
Engineering Feedback Loop: Collaborate with Field Technical Engineers and Quality/R&D teams to translate recurring field issues into updated training material.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: ITI / Diploma / B.Tech in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience: 5+ years of total experience, with at least 2-3 years in a technical training role within the premium motorcycle segment (or as a Senior Master Technician with strong coaching experience).
