Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading (B/L), and other trade-related documents.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance of documents with international trade regulations and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and internal teams for smooth document flow and timely dispatch.
- Track shipments and maintain records of all export transactions and document submissions.
- Handle documentation for Letters of Credit (L/C) and bank negotiations, ensuring all conditions are met.
- Communicate with buyers and overseas agents to confirm documentation requirements for destination customs clearance.
- Assist in managing documentation audits and responding to any document-related queries or discrepancies.
- Update and maintain document filing systems (physical and digital).
- Support export invoicing and maintain coordination with finance for payment follow- ups and reconciliations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in International Business, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field min 3 years of experience in export documentation or international trade operations.
- Knowledge of INCOTERMS, L/C documentation, and shipping processes.
- Familiarity with trade platforms (e.g., DGFT, ICEGATE, or similar portals depending on country).
- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
