Job Title: Trainer – Battery Management SystemJob Summary:
As a Trainer in Battery management system you will be responsible for developing and delivering
comprehensive training programs.
These programs will encompass battery technology, battery cell modelling, battery pack design, BMS ...
design, and BMS implementation, equipping individuals with the knowledge and expertise to excel in
this growing field.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Curriculum Development:
• Design and update training modules and curricula for EV battery management system
(BMS) that would include basic to advanced topic for comprehensive understanding.
• Create hands-on exercises, projects, and simulations to facilitate effective learning2. Training Delivery:
• Conduct engaging training sessions covering various aspects of EV battery
management systems, including design, development, testing, safety and regulations
• Ensure that training programs align with industry best practices and standards.
3. Hands-On practical Exercises and Instructions:
• Provide hands-on training in electrical circuits, sensors, overall BMS architecture
• Create real life problem scenarios using simulations and also train students in software
tools for designing and fault analysis.
4. Assessment and Evaluation:
• Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student progress and proficiency.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and support their skill development.
5. Resource Management:
▪ Interface with workshop team and ensure maximum availability & utilisation of lab
equipment & tools
▪ Ensure the availability of necessary training materials and resources.
6. Safety and Compliance:
• Emphasize and enforce safety practices in battery technology
• Comply with safety regulations and maintain a safe training environment.
7. Industry Engagement:
• Stay updated with the latest advancements and innovations in BMS & battery
technology.
• Collaborate with industry experts and professionals for insights and knowledge sharing.
8. Student Guidance:
• Provide mentorship and guidance to students, including career advice and job
placement support. 9. Documentation:
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress.
• Prepare reports on training outcomes and student achievements.
Preferred Candidate Profile:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• BE/ B Tech / Diploma in Mechanical/ Automobile/ Electrical & Electronic Engineering
with at least 5-7 years of experience in Automobile Industry with a focus on BMS
• Thorough understanding of Auto electrical system including Battery (both lead acid &
Li-on) charging, Battery management Sys (BMS), functioning of Controller, DC-DC
Converter and Battery charger.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively to develop and deliver high-quality
training programs that are aligned with industry trends and requirements.
• Able to adapt their training programs to meet the needs of different groups of learners
and to changing industry trends.
