• Working Day-  6 Day

• Receive raw materials such as grains, oil cakes, additives, minerals, and packing materials.
• Verify quantity and quality against purchase orders, delivery challans, and invoices.
• Ensure proper stacking, labeling, and identification of materials as per FIFO/LIFO norms.
• Maintain segregated storage for raw material, finished goods, rejects, and returned items.

2. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate records of stock in ERP/Manual registers.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock verification.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Coordinate with procurement and production planning teams for material requirement forecasting.
• Investigate and report stock discrepancies, shortages, or damages.

3. Issuance to Production

• Issue raw materials to production based on approved material requisitions.
• Ensure correct quantity and batch details are issued.
• Maintain material consumption records and ensure traceability.

4. Finished Goods Handling

• Store finished cattle feed bags in designated warehouse areas.
• Ensure safe stacking to prevent damage, contamination, or moisture absorption.
• Handle loading and dispatch of finished goods as per dispatch schedule.
• Coordinate with transporters for timely delivery.

5. Documentation & Compliance

• Maintain inward and outward registers, GRNs, stock registers, and delivery challans.
• Ensure proper batch-wise and date-wise documentation for traceability.
• Assist during internal and external audits.
• Ensure compliance with BIS, company SOPs, and safety standards.

6. Housekeeping & Safety

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse at all times.
• Follow safety norms related to material handling, fire safety, and pest control.
• Ensure use of PPE by warehouse staff.
• Report unsafe conditions, spillages, or damages immediately.

7. Manpower & Coordination

• Supervise warehouse helpers and loaders.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor productivity.
• Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, Accounts, and Transport departments.

Key Skills & Competencies

• Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control
• Understanding of FIFO/LIFO methods
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, SAP/Inventory software)
• Ability to handle physical stock and warehouse labor
