Zonal Sales Manager - Cotton Seed
Lead and direct sales operations for an entire assigned zone, overseeing a team of Regional Managers, Territory Sales Leads, and Market Development Officers. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve company-wide sales objectives. This is a high-impact role for a seasoned leader in the cotton seed industry with proven success in Maharashtra.
Tasks
• Deliver sales, demand generation, demand fulfillment, and collection targets.
• Manage team performance, including talent acquisition.
• Develop and execute short and long-term operational plans.
• Break down organizational goals into geographic and business area priorities, ensuring effective implementation.
• Ensure adherence to business processes and high service levels for farmers, channel partners, and internal customers.
• Define and implement a Learning & Development agenda for the zone.
Skills
• 15+ years of progressive sales experience in the seed industry, including at least 3-5 years as a Zonal Marketing Manager/Product Manager or 5 years as a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) in Maharashtra with cotton seed/seed selling experience. ...
