Key Responsibilities:
1. Operations Management:
Oversee the production process, ensuring adherence to production schedules and
quality standards.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational efficiency, reduce costs, and
improve product quality.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
2. Staff Management:
Lead, manage, and motivate a team of supervisors, technicians, and production
workers.
Conduct performance reviews, provide coaching, and facilitate training and
development programs.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
3. Production Planning:
Coordinate with the planning department to develop and manage production schedules.
Monitor production metrics and adjust schedules as needed to meet demand and
minimize downtime.
Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
4. Quality Control:
Ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
Implement and maintain quality control procedures and practices.
Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.
5. Cost Management:
Monitor and control production costs, including labor, materials, and overhead.
Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Prepare and manage budgets for the production unit.
6. Continuous Improvement:
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, efficiency, and
quality.
Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices.
Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement.
7. Coordination and Communication:
Liaise with other departments, such as procurement, logistics, maintenance, and
quality assurance, to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare and present reports on production performance, issues, and improvement
plans.
Communicate effectively with Senior Management, Stakeholders and Customer.
Qualifications:
Bachelor& degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, CIPET or a
related field. A Master°ree is a plus.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, with at least 5 years in a managerial
role in a similar industry.
Proven experience in plastic and metal container manufacturing is highly desirable.

Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
In-depth knowledge of production management, quality control, and safety standards.
