The Credit Manager is responsible for overseeing the credit granting process for the organization. This includes assessing the creditworthiness of potential customers, periodic review of existing customers, optimizing company sales while ensuring minimal risk, and managing the collection of payments to ensure timely cash flows.Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of financial analysis, credit rating systems, and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient ERP systems.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- MBA/ Inter CA/CMA or other professional qualification (preferred).
- 5–8 years of experience in credit control, credit analysis, or risk management.
- Experience in Retail / FMCG / manufacturing is an advantage.
