Key Responsibilities:
- System Maintenance & Support:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on IBMS systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues in BMS and Niagara-based platforms.
- Niagara Framework Expertise:
- Configure, program, and integrate building systems using Niagara N4 platform.
- Develop graphics, dashboards, and logic for building automation.
- Manage Niagara licensing, station backups, and security settings.
- Integration & Networking:
- Integrate third-party systems (HVAC, lighting, fire alarm, access control) using standard protocols (BACnet, Modbus).
- Ensure seamless communication between devices and IT networks.
- Upgrades & Optimization:
- Implement system upgrades, patches, and performance tuning.
- Optimize energy efficiency through system analytics and reporting.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate service logs, system diagrams, and configuration details.
- Prepare reports on system health, alarms, and energy usage.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Diploma/bachelor’s degree in electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–4 years of experience in IBMS/BMS service and maintenance.
- Hands-on experience with Niagara Framework (N4 preferred).
- Strong knowledge of building automation systems (HVAC, lighting, security).
- Familiarity with communication protocols: BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks.
- Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, VLANs, firewalls).
Key Competencies:
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
