RoleRole & Responsibilities
As the Business Head, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our client's agri-business. You will spearhead strategic initiatives, oversee P&L responsibility, and drive market expansion. This role requires a visionary leader who can navigate the complexities of the agricultural technology landscape and deliver exceptional results.
Main tasks include
- Develop and execute comprehensive business strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets.
- Manage the Profit & Loss (P&L) for the business unit, ensuring financial health and profitability.
- Drive sales and marketing initiatives to expand market share and enhance brand presence.
- Oversee all operational aspects of the business, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the agritech or poultry sectors.
- Foster a high-performance culture and lead a dedicated team to success.
- Must have an MBA/PGDM qualification.
- Must possess 10 to 15 years of progressive experience in business leadership roles.
- Must have proven expertise in sales & marketing, operations, and P&L management.
- Experience within the Agritech or Poultry industry is highly desirable.
- Must have demonstrated ability to drive strategic growth and operational excellence.
- Must possess strong leadership and team management skills.
- Must have excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Must be proficient in strategic planning and execution.
- Must have the ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving market landscape.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Pune, Maharashtra.
