Responsibilities:- Promote and sell a comprehensive range of pharmaceutical and biotechnology filtration products.
- Identify potential customers and develop strategic approaches to attract new business within the pharma and biotech sectors.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of our products and stay current with industry trends, including process validation, P&IDs, and utility discussions.
- Provide expert technical support and engaging product demonstrations to potential and current customers.
- Clearly communicate product benefits and features to a diverse clientele, including End Users, Engineering Consultants, Project Managers, and Purchasing Managers.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively establishing new connections.
- Collaborate closely with the product development team to stay informed about new product features and advancements.
- Prepare detailed sales reports and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, seminars, and networking events.
- Gather and provide valuable feedback to the company regarding market trends, product issues, and customer concerns.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Process, Chemical, Biochemical, or Biotech preferred) or a related Science field.
- Post-graduate degree in Process, Chemical, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology is required.
- Proven experience in sales, particularly within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
- Preferred experience with filtration systems, WFI (Water for Injection), pharma plant processes, Process Systems, TFF (Tangential Flow Filtration), sterile equipment, pharma machinery OEMs, or Single Use Technologies.
- Comfortable discussing and explaining pharma/biotech product specifics, process validation, P&IDs, and utilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
- Proficiency in working with client personas including Pharma/Biotech End Users, Engineering Consultants, Project Managers, and Purchase Managers.
