Experience: 20+ Years experience of which the last 3-5 Years as Finance Director / CFO of mid-sized company with multi-centre and Global presence
Industry: Exposure in IT companies preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Financial planning and Risk management
- Drive Company’s financial health and growth
- Streamline company’s Financial management processes
- Joint ownership of PnL responsibility with the Executive management
- Key member of Corporate Strategic decision for growth, investment
- Ensure mandatory statutory compliance, audit, corporate taxes
- Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, tracking, reporting
- Drive operational excellence, project costing, invoicing, AR, AP and cost management
- Drive cash flow management, investment strategies and overall fund management
- Vendor, partner validation, management and rationalization
Core Responsibilities:
- Financial Planning and Analysis:
Developing and managing company's budget, forecasting future financial performance, and analyzing financial data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Financial Management:
Overseeing all aspects of the company's finances, including cash flow management, investment strategies, and ensuring the company has sufficient liquidity.
Capital expense management, Margin management, Asset management
Book keeping, Ledger, Accounting tasks
Taxation, International transaction, Fund Transfer, Trans-national financial management
- Risk Management:
Identifying and mitigating potential financial risks, including market, credit, and operational risks.
- Financial Reporting:
Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reports
Including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Statutory and Process Compliance:
Ensuring the company adheres to all relevant financial regulations and laws related to Corporate Registration, Company’s Act compliance, GST, Taxation, Statutory audits and reporting.
Understanding and review of contracts, legal documents, government rules & regulations of respective countries of operations or future growth
Liaison with banks, insurance agencies, government bodies
- Strategic Leadership:
Working with CEO, MD, Executive management members to develop and implement medium and long-term financial strategies to support company's overall business goals.
- Investor Relations:
Managing relationships with investors, shareholders, and analysts, communicating financial performance and strategy.
- Team Leadership:
Managing and developing the finance team, including controllers, analysts, and other financial professionals.
Cross functional interaction with Business, Sales, Engineering, Human Resource and driving financial governance
- Data Analysis:
Utilizing financial data to provide insights and recommendations to the executive team and board of directors.
- Mergers and Acquisitions / IPOs:
Advising on potential M&A targets and participating in the due diligence process.
Constant benchmarking and enhancement of company’s valuation in line with market conditions.
Overseeing the financial aspects of an IPO, if applicable and ensuring that the company is consistently valuated and elevated and positioned appropriately.
In essence, the CFO is both a guardian of the company's finances and a strategic partner to the CEO, helping to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
Willingness to travel to other locations of the company or client for short term to meet company business objectives, goals or corporate compliance
