Establish and deploy a common claim and change order strategy together with the
project management.
 Contract analysis in the project start phase about claim and change order potentials and
risks.
 Support the core project team in preparing change proposals.
 Setting up the formal procedures for and drafting of correspondence in the project.
 Ensure that contemporary records (Daily Logs, LMS Deviation Records, As-built
Schedule, Handover Certificates, Photos, Reports, MoMs, Notifications, etc.) to evidence
or preserve contractual rights are created and kept.
 Close collaboration with the Project Scheduler and the Commercial Project Manager to
carry out delay analysis and quantum (cost) analysis.
 Ensure that documentation/proof of claims be done in a structured way including
compilation of back-up documents for negotiations.
 Advise the team in contract and claims management, including project documentation
housekeeping.
 Active support in claim negotiations with the customer and subcontractors, together
with project team.
