Role Summary
The person will be responsible for managing the end‑to‑end process of borrower covenant monitoring, annual credit reviews, compliance reporting, and the ongoing administration of credit facilities. This role serves as the central coordination point between Front Office, Risk, Legal, Loan Admin, and external Agents to ensure that borrower obligations are met, internal controls are maintained, and regulatory and credit requirements are complied with. This role will also support compliance-related reviews, KYC processes, and internal reporting requirements, playing a key role in maintaining operational integrity across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Covenant Monitoring & Compliance Management
- Own the full lifecycle of tracking, reviewing, escalating, and coordinating borrower covenant obligations (financial and non-financial), ensuring timely collection, assessment, approvals, and remediation actions where required.
- Ensure covenant compliance results are accurately documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders, with timely escalation of exceptions or emerging risks.
- Support Annual Credit Monitoring and Trigger Reports, ensuring completeness, timeliness, and accuracy of risk reporting and follow-up actions.
Portfolio Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain and update portfolio-level reports for price monitoring and credit balances
- Understand corporate and shareholder structures, prepare accurate shareholder tagging, and ensure borrowers, obligors, and related parties are correctly registered in internal systems in accordance with credit requirements.
- Responsible for updating facilities in reports for new, repaid or refinance deals across internal systems
- Ensure data accuracy, traceability, and proper documentation across all internal systems.
KYC, Compliance & Regulatory Support
- Support periodic KYC reviews in coordination with the KYC Team, ensuring all required documents, clarifications, and updates are completed within deadlines.
- Support compliance-related assessments, including Accredited Investor Annual Reviews, ensuring proper documentation, checks, and escalation where required.
- Liaise with SFDA Planning Group and Loan Administration teams on internal reporting matters, operational queries, and periodic submissions.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field;
- 3-8 years of experience in credit risk management or project finance
- Good understanding of financial covenants, credit approval processes, loan documentation, and corporate lending structures (including amendments, waivers, and consents).
- Familiarity with syndicated loan arrangements, facility agency communication, and post-closing credit controls.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and coordination skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining data accuracy and compliance standards.

- Ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely.
- Proficiency in MS Office and financial analysis tools.
