Key Responsibilities: 1. Designing Equipment such Pressure Vessels, Heat Exchangers, Compressors Packages, Piping Spool, Oil and Water consoles. 2. Reviewing codes, standards, and customer specifications. 3. Reviewing drawings and design calculations. 4. Preparation of design inputs, bought-out items & paint data sheet. 5. Validating various design software. 6. Communication with customers for approval of engineering documents. 7. Preparation and updating of Engineering log sheet/ CRS (comment resolution sheet). 8. Reviewing customer comments and resubmission of documents on time. Studying the impact of customer comments. 9. Logging DCR (Design Change Record) for any changes in input documents/comments received from customers/suppliers. Qualifications -1.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 2. 3-8 years of experience in oil &gas equipment design. 3. Strong knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations. 4. Experience with design software such as PV-Elite, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc. 5. Strong communication and leadership skills. 6. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES<br />(List the responsibilities/duties associated with the job and the major activities associated with each responsibility).<br />Accountabilities<br />Major Activities<br />% of Time<br />Ensure compliance to Contract for the project scope<br />Determine Project risks and potential deviations related to contract and address the same to ensure compliance<br /> Participate in Contract review and ensure compliance to contract for design engineering scope during project execution<br /> Identify and Mitigate risks related to design engineering execution throughout the project<br /> Identify potential deviations/variations (VORs, TQs, NCRs) related to design engineering<br /> Contribute in capturing design engineering related lessons learned for the project<br />50% at the start of project<br />10% during main execution and<br />20% during project closeout<br />Manage design engineering scope<br />Manage engineering scope of assigned project meeting contract requirements with adequate quality<br /> Technical point of contact for other external parties throughout project execution for design engineering related matters<br /> Handle internal and external interfaces related to design engineering, evaluate and ensure implementation of the same<br /> Contribute in generating the Master Document List (MDL) of design engineering deliverables<br /> Participate in the design reviews with Client and other parties to ensure alignment of the design as per requirements.<br /> Participate in PEM gate reviews and ensure design engineering check points are closed<br />30% at project startup<br />20% in the main execution phase and 10% during close out<br />Plan, Control and Monitor design engineering progress<br />Monitor and control project progress as per schedule with desired quality Contribute in identifying the design engineering resource need for project and manage it throughout the execution<br /> Manage the design engineering team situated in various geographies and their KPIs for the project scope<br /> Control day to day operations of design team members to address and resolve the operational issues<br /> Monitor and control project design deliverables and ensure its alignment with procurement/ fabrication<br /> Be a mentor to design team<br />20% at project startup<br />50% in the main execution phase and 40% during close out<br />Technical responsible for project procurement<br /> Responsible as the technical point of contact for the design engineering scope<br /> Responsible for Technical bid evaluation including handling exceptions and clarifications related to design scope<br /> Participate in Project Procurement Meetings (PPM) and meetings with subcontractors to handle SMDL scope<br /> Responsible for resolving supplier TQ, concessions and NCRs for design scope<br /> Ensure completeness of supplier closeout documents related to design scope<br />10% during main execution phaseF<h3>experience</h3>18published on May 6, 2026
