Reports directly to the Group CEO. Based in Bangalore, with the ability to relocate to Dubai if business needs require. Structure of the role Theme stewardship (standing accountability) The role owns analytical ownership of three themes across the group: 1. Group profitability and margins: entity-by-entity margin movement, root-cause understanding, corrective actions. 2. Growth and commercial diagnostics: sales performance, customer concentration, pricing, market trends. 3. Operations productivity and capability: manufacturing efficiency, automation opportunities, AI applications, cost transformation. The expectation is to always understand the current state of each theme and to surface emerging issues before they are asked about. Illustrative projects
* Within margins: Why are gross margins declining in JTR; what corrective actions are available.* Within growth: Why are sales down this quarter in a given region or category; what is the response.* Within operations: Where can automation reduce cost or unlock capacity at our processing operations, with what payback; where could AI deliver leverage across the business.* Cross-cutting: Assessment of the current marketing plan; alternative, more aggressive options with cost and expected return.* M&A support: Pre-LOI commercial and financial analysis on acquisition targets. Profile required Education * Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or Analytics from a tier-one institution.* Postgraduate qualification in Business: MBA from a tier-one programme or a Masters in Finance / Economics, or qualified Chartered Accountant. Experience (3 to 8 years post-qualification) Preferred backgrounds: * Corporate strategy or FP&A teams in mid-to-large groups Note: Strategy consulting backgrounds are not preferred for this role. * Strong quantitative and analytical foundations (legacy of the engineering or mathematics training showing through).* Financial modelling at a professional standard; comfortable with three-statement modelling, sensitivity analysis, and scenario work.* Executive-grade written communication; can write a one-page CEO memo that lands the point.* Fluent across commercial, financial, and operational data; not a single-domain specialist.* Comfortable with ambiguity and incomplete information.
