  1. Role & Responsibilities (What the candidate is supposed to do on the job):

  2. Float RFQ to Suppliers for Proto requirements, and New Project Developments as per the Approved Source List, Getting Quotations, Quote Approvals, and Purchase Order Releases.

  3. Support Plant Proto Manufacturing Team Requirements by placing requirements & regular follow-up, QA Clearance at Plant and Handover to Proto Manufacturing Team.

  4. Monitor supplier performance on monthly basis for Proto Requirements.

  5. Tracking of New Development Project Status & Proto Part Receipts and Review with Team.

  6. PPAP Documentation review with Plant Quality Team & Supplier.

  7. Knowledge of Quality Management Systems - ISO/TS 16949 & ISO 9001 would be additional Advantage.

  8. Commodity Settlements with supplier

  9. New Project feasibility and BOM Costing

  10. Skill sets required (What are the skills required to do the job):

  11. Technical :-

  12. Well versed with MS Office, Excel, PPT

  13. Good knowledge of ERP based system, knowledge of oracle will be an added advantage

  14. Good Presentation & Communication Skills

  15. Functional:-

  16. Knowledge of New Product Development Process.

  17. Technical and commercial Know-How for Fabrication, Stamping, Machined Components Commodity manufacturing process.
