Job Profi le: Medior+ or Senior Java Developer (Back-end) We are looking for a Medior+ or Senior developer who can build independently and speaks fl uent English and/or Dutch. The candidate must be able to work within the Dutch time zone and have experience with agile methodologies. It is important that the candidate is ok with adapting to the teams fl ow instead of bringing a new vision. Must have: ● Spring Boot ● REST API Nice to have: ● Oracle SOA Suite ● PostgreSQL ● Liquibase ● JPA ● CloudFormation ● Terraform ● Docker ● CI/CD GitLab ● AWS Role Overview We are seeking a Medior+ or Senior Java Developer (back-end) to join our team. The ideal candidate is a highly proficient, self-starting developer capable of independently building and delivering robust integration solutions. You will be a vital part of an agile team, contributing to the development and maintenance of our core services. Fluency in English and/or Dutch is required. Key Responsibilities ● Development and maintenance of the B2B portal functionality: Development and maintenance of a technical framework and associated applications to unlock local functionalities that fall outside the scope of the central r-one platform. ● Realization of other local functionalities: Development and implementation of additional Digital Market Place (DMP) functionalities specifically required for the business operations of the Randstad Netherlands organization.
● Stabilization and release management: Replacing temporary technical shortcuts in the B2B integration with sustainable, stable solutions. ○ Proactively integrating new releases of the global r-one platform into the local B2B portal. ○ Analyzing and mitigating breaking changes in r-one releases to ensure the continuity of the local portal. ○ Unlocking and implementing new functional capabilities from the r-one updates within the specific architecture of the B2B portal. ● SOA Orchestration: Orchestration of central processes within the Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA). ● Database & Integration: Managing complex transaction data in Oracle and developing robust integration solutions with global backend APIs. ● Management and continuous development of OutSystems applications: Performing regular maintenance and designing, developing, and implementing new functionalities for various applications built in OutSystems. ● Management and decommissioning of legacy ADF application: Management of a legacy Oracle ADF system, including the rationalization and removal of specific functionalities. The work is executed within a fixed release cycle to ensure stability and a controlled transition or phase-out of the system. Required Qualifications (Must-Have) ● Proven experience as a developer in a Medior+ or Senior capacity. ● Strong proficiency in Java 17 or higher . ● Extensive experience with the Spring Boot framework. ● Solid understanding of REST API design and implementation. ● Experience with JPA (Java Persistence API) or similar ORM. ● Experience with Oracle Soa Suite ● Experience working within an Agile development environment. ● Ability to work independently and take ownership of development tasks. ● Fluent in English and/or Dutch. ● Must be available to work within the Dutch time zone . ● A collaborative mindset and willingness to adapt to the team's current development practices and vision.
