Job description Roles and Responsibilities 1. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.2. Ensure month-end and year-end closure process.3. Manage and comply with reporting requirements and tax filings.4. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.5. Interfacing with auditors and ensuring audit is completed within the agreed timeline and addressing all the issues raised by the auditors to ensure timely closure of various audits.6. Coordination with tax consultant for providing and submitting the details to tax authorities.7. Major focus on closure of audits and tax litigation8. Additional duties as necessary. Desired Candidate Profile & Skill Set 1. Strong understanding of GAAP or IFRS and experience in preparing financial statements.2. Ability to design and implement internal controls, and assess financial risks.3. Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and variance analysis.4. Ability to analyze complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.5. Communicate financial information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.6. Lead and motivate the accounting team, fostering a collaborative work environment.7. Expertise in accounting software like Tally.ERP, Zoho Books, or similar platforms.8. Ability to identify and solve complex financial challenges9. CPA certification and minimum 10 years of experience in a senior accounting role.10. Prior experience in the IT industry is a plus.11. Bachelors/Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.12. Experience managing and implementing financial process improvement initiatives
