Role Purpose

The Head - Marketing, Branding & Digital Transformation will be responsible for leading the organization's overall brand strategy, marketing communications, digital transformation, consumer engagement, and business growth initiatives.

The incumbent will serve as the custodian of the company's brands, driving both traditional and digital marketing excellence while building strong consumer connect, market visibility, and commercial impact. The role requires a highly creative yet commercially driven leader with strong exposure to fashion, lifestyle, retail, eyewear, apparel, or luxury consumer brands.

The ideal candidate must possess a strong understanding of evolving consumer trends, fashion aesthetics, celebrity marketing, digital ecosystems, and emerging technologies including AI-driven marketing solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Marketing Leadership

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing, branding, and communication strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Build and strengthen brand equity, consumer perception, and market positioning across all product categories.
  • Ensure consistency of brand identity, messaging, and visual communication across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Drive annual marketing planning, campaign calendars, product launches, and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Monitor market trends, consumer behaviour, competition, and emerging opportunities.

Fashion & Lifestyle Brand Management

  • Act as the brand custodian with a strong focus on fashion, lifestyle, luxury, and consumer trends.
  • Develop seasonal campaigns, fashion-forward storytelling, and premium brand experiences.
  • Collaborate with designers, photographers, stylists, influencers, and creative agencies to create compelling brand narratives.
  • Ensure all marketing communication reflects contemporary fashion sensibilities and evolving consumer aspirations.
  • Maintain awareness of global fashion, luxury, retail, and lifestyle trends to keep the brand relevant and aspirational.

Celebrity, Influencer & PR Management

  • Lead celebrity endorsement strategies, ambassador programs, influencer collaborations, and media partnerships.
  • Manage relationships with celebrities, talent agencies, PR agencies, production houses, and media partners.
  • Oversee celebrity shoots, campaign execution, endorsement contracts, and brand collaborations.
  • Develop integrated PR strategies to maximize brand visibility and consumer engagement.

Digital Marketing & Growth

  • Lead all digital marketing initiatives including:
    • SEO & SEM
    • Performance Marketing
    • Social Media Marketing
    • Influencer Marketing
    • Content Marketing
    • E-Commerce Marketing
    • CRM & Email Marketing
    • Marketing Automation
  • Drive customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and online brand visibility.
  • Optimize digital investments and ensure maximum ROI across all digital channels.
  • Monitor campaign effectiveness through analytics, dashboards, and performance reporting.

Retail Marketing & Trade Activation

  • Lead ATL, BTL, and Trade Marketing initiatives.
  • Drive retail branding, point-of-sale communication, visual merchandising, exhibitions, events, roadshows, and experiential marketing activities.
  • Develop dealer engagement programs, channel marketing initiatives, and retail visibility campaigns.
  • Ensure strong brand presence across modern trade, general trade, and retail channels.

AI, Technology & Marketing Innovation

  • Champion digital transformation and adoption of emerging technologies within the marketing function.
  • Leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation tools, predictive analytics, and consumer data platforms to enhance marketing effectiveness.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies including:
    • Generative AI
    • Marketing Automation Platforms
    • Customer Data Platforms (CDP)
    • Performance Analytics Tools
    • E-commerce Technologies
    • Social Commerce Platforms
  • Drive innovation through technology-led consumer engagement initiatives.

Agency & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage creative agencies, media agencies, PR partners, production houses, digital agencies, influencers, and technology vendors.
  • Ensure effective campaign execution, cost optimization, and timely delivery of marketing initiatives.
  • Negotiate commercial agreements and maximize value from agency partnerships.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead and mentor marketing, creative, digital, and brand teams.
  • Build a high-performance culture focused on creativity, innovation, accountability, and execution excellence.
  • Manage annual marketing budgets and ensure effective utilization of resources.
  • Present strategic recommendations, campaign performance reports, and business insights to senior leadership.

Desired Profile

Education

  • MBA in Marketing, Brand Management, Communication, or related discipline from a reputed institution.

Experience

  • 12-18 years of progressive experience in Marketing, Branding, Digital Marketing, and Consumer Engagement.
  • Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Mandatory experience in Fashion, Lifestyle, Eyewear, Apparel, Luxury, Beauty, Retail, or Consumer Brands.
  • Proven track record of managing celebrity endorsements, influencer programs, large-scale brand campaigns, and agency ecosystems.
  • Strong exposure to both traditional and digital marketing environments.
