Strategic Leadership & Commercial Management
- Profitability & Cost Savings: Develop and execute strategies to achieve substantial cost reduction across CAPEX and OPEX to enhance bottom-line profit.
- Project Lifecycle Management: Provide commercial association with projects from inception to successful commissioning and smooth operation, including configuration, budgeting, and statutory clearance.
- Risk & Financial Control: Identify risk factors, evaluate their impact on profitability, and initiate mitigation measures. Review cash flow, conduct internal audits, and finalize insurance requirements.
- Policy & SOPs: Develop and implement cost-efficient policies/SOPs to cover all Procurement and Contract activities, ensuring alignment with the company's audit needs.
2. Specialized Fertilizer Procurement & Sourcing
- Raw Material Security: Lead the import and indigenous procurement of key raw materials, machineries, and spares necessary for fertilizer/chemical plant operations (e.g., Nitric Acid, Ammonium Nitrate, DAP, NPK).
- Global Sourcing & Logistics: Oversee the end-to-end import procurement process for capital and project-specific materials, including interaction with Freight Forwarders and Clearing & Forwarding Agents (CHA) for timely customs clearance.
- Vendor Development: Lead the development of sourcing strategies, vendor identification, development, and analytical assessment to strengthen supply chain effectiveness.
- Optimized Purchasing: Organize and execute electronic auctions (Reverse/Dutch/Forward) through systems like ARIBA for supply items and services.
