Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented, energetic, and highly communicative HR Operations & Onboarding Specialist to join our HR team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day HR administrative operations and executing a seamless onboarding experience for both shop-floor workers and corporate staff.
The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between HR systems, compliance, and employee engagement, ensuring a welcoming and structured environment for new hires in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Onboarding & Induction
- End-to-End Onboarding: Facilitate structured onboarding and orientation for new hires (corporate staff, engineering, and plant/production personnel).
- Documentation & Verification: Manage pre-employment screening, background verification (BGV), medical check-ups, and collection of essential onboarding documents.
- First-Day Coordination: Coordinate with IT, Admin, and Operations teams for asset allocation, ID creation, uniforms/PPE issuance, and workspace setup prior to Day 1.
- Plant Orientation: Conduct introductory plant/factory safety rules overview in coordination with the HSE (Health, Safety, & Environment) team.
2. HR Operations & Administration
- Employee Life Cycle Management: Maintain accurate employee master data from joiner to leaver across internal databases and HRMS tools.
- Attendance & Payroll Input: Track daily attendance, shift rosters, overtime (OT), and leave records for plant and corporate employees to support payroll processing.
- Compliance Support: Assist in maintaining compliance with local labor laws, factory regulations, Provident Fund (PF), ESI, and audit document preparation.
- Offboarding: Coordinate the exit clearance process, conduct exit surveys, and collaborate with payroll for Full & Final (F&F) settlements.
3. Helpdesk & Communication
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding company policies, leave benefits, insurance, and payroll queries.
- Maintain clear, empathetic, and professional communication across all levels of the manufacturing hierarchy.
