  • Apprenticeship Programs: Managing "Learn and Earn" programs, such as NAPS (National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme) in India.
2. Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations
  • Grievance Handling: Acting as a bridge between shop-floor workers and plant management to resolve disputes and maintain morale.
  • Union Negotiations: Participating in wage settlements, union negotiations, and ensuring a peaceful, strike-free work environment.
  • Conflict Resolution: Investigating workplace issues and enforcing company disciplinary guidelines fairly.
3. Statutory Compliance and Legal Obligations
  • Labor Laws: Ensuring adherence to the Factories Act, Contract Labour (Regulation and Abolition) Act, Payment of Wages Act, and POSH.
  • Social Security: Managing monthly processing and reporting for Provident Fund (PF), Employees' State Insurance (ESI), and Gratuity.
  • Audits & Inspections: Preparing required documentation for government labor departments and managing factory-level audits.
4. Operations, Payroll, and Administration
  • Attendance & Shifts: Managing time-office functions, shift rosters, overtime (OT) tracking, and leave records.
  • Payroll Inputs: Verifying attendance and performance data to provide accurate inputs for monthly salary processing.
  • Facility Management: Overseeing essential plant amenities such as the employee cafeteria, transport, security, and housekeeping.
5. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)
  • Safety Protocols: Partnering with safety officers to ensure workers use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Compliance Checks: Monitoring factory conditions to prevent workplace hazards and conducting periodic health check-ups for employees.

    6. Workforce Productivity & Performance
  • Productivity Tracking: Monitoring absenteeism, turnover, and overall efficiency.
  • Performance Appraisals: Executing performance reviews and incentive programs tailored to different factory roles
