Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Engagement:
Greet and welcome customers entering the showroom with a warm and professional demeanor.
Understand customer requirements regarding fabrics, designs, occasions, and budgets.
Demonstrate and drape sarees/fabrics elegantly to help customers visualize the final look.
Cross-sell and up-sell products (e.g., matching blouses, dress materials, or accessories).
Consistently meet or exceed monthly individual and store sales targets.
Store Operations & Merchandising:
Maintain the visual merchandising standards of the assigned counter, ensuring fabrics and sarees are neatly folded, arranged, and beautifully displayed.
Keep track of stock levels on the floor and coordinate with the warehouse team for replenishment.
Ensure the correct price tags and promotional labels are attached to all merchandise.
Assist in periodic stock-taking and inventory audits.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM):
Build and maintain relationships with regular walk-in clients and loyal customers.
Inform customers about new arrivals, festive collections, seasonal offers, and loyalty programs.
Handle customer queries, complaints, or return requests gracefully according to company policy.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: High School Diploma / Graduate in any discipline (Fashion Designing or Retail Management background is a plus).
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in retail counter sales, preferably in premium ethnic wear, textiles, sarees, or luxury apparel brands.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in the local language and Hindi (English is an added advantage).
Strong knowledge of fabrics, prints, textures, and saree draping styles.
A polite, patient, and customer-first attitude.
Basic numerical skills for billing assistance and tracking targets.
