- Develop the capability to quote all assigned products for the Business Line served globally to customers per the market strategy and service level requirements.
- Act as the focal point between customers, external sales and manufacturing plants for RFQ received
- Respond to customer phone calls and emails timely and professionally.
- Review and apply 'Priority Management' of the incoming requests, review customer requirements including technical and commercial specifications and documents and communicate target completion dates.
- Understand and gauge the progress of RFQ / Tenders and propose with justification seeking extension for deadlines
- Calculate price and discounts utilizing approved process and price lists.
- Analyse the market prices for the approved margin levels and prepare Proposal Recommendation email or presentation and request for approval
- Perform accurate costing of products by estimations and sourcing of parts
- Compare & analyse the item costing results, referencing the items having existing costs in the ERP
- Coordinate with Engineering teams for getting the Quote BOM, arrange Kick off meetings for discussion with Outside Salesperson, Engineering team and other functions as needed.
