1. Strategic Market Development – Domestic & Export
Build a comprehensive go-to-market strategy for phenolic resins across
India and key international markets.
Define application-specific strategies for liquid, powder, and pastel novolac
resins, and develop segmented positioning based on end-use industries.
Identify new sectors and clients where phenolic resins can deliver
unique value over alternatives.
2. Value-Based Selling & Premium Positioning
Position phenolic resins as high-performance, application-
specific solutions, not commodity-grade materials.
Promote product quality, consistency, technical support, and process
compatibility as differentiators to justify premium pricing.
Train and guide the team in consultative and value-led selling techniques
that shift the conversation from “price per kg” to “value per outcome.”
Support R&D and production in developing customized solutions based on
customer feedback, ensuring stickiness and long-term engagement.
3. Sales Execution & Revenue Ownership
Take end-to-end ownership for achieving sales and realization targets,
ensuring full capacity utilization of the phenolic plant.
Balance sales mix across domestic and export markets, and across resin
formats.
Track conversions, realizations, trial-to-order ratios, and margins to ensure a
profitable and sustainable sales engine.
4. Domestic Market Development (Zonal Focus)
Develop a structured zonal strategy for India segmented into North, South,
East, and West.
Build region-wise pipelines and identify sector-specific focus areas in each
zone (e.g., foundry in West, abrasives in South, etc.).
Appoint or manage channel partners and local sales reps where necessary.
5. Export Market Penetration
Establish a strong export strategy with defined focus countries and product-
market fit.
Build long-term relationships with international clients, traders, and technical
buyers.
Understand global pricing dynamics and regulatory requirements to build a
robust and compliant export pipeline.
