<p>Risk Management, Planning, Scheduling & Costing (Power Utility Sector)</p><p> </p><p>Job Type: Contract<br />Payroll Company: Randstad India<br />Duration: 9 Months,</p><p> </p><p>Job Purpose:</p><p>Oversee and implement effective project planning, risk assessment, cost management, and scheduling activities for power generation, transmission, and distribution projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget control, and compliance with utility standards and regulations.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><p>1. Project Planning & Scheduling</p><ul><li><p>Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 / MS Project.</p></li><li><p>Establish baselines, track project progress, and report schedule deviations.</p></li><li><p>Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning timelines.</p></li><li><p>Identify critical paths and propose corrective actions to mitigate delays.</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, site execution, finance).</p></li></ul><p>2. Risk Management</p><ul><li><p>Develop and implement risk management frameworks in line with ISO 31000 / utility standards.</p></li><li><p>Identify potential project and operational risks, quantify their impact, and develop mitigation strategies.</p></li><li><p>Maintain risk registers and conduct regular risk review workshops.</p></li><li><p>Support management in decision-making through risk-based performance insights.</p></li></ul><p>3. Cost Estimation & Control</p><ul><li><p>Prepare project cost estimates and budgets for CAPEX and OPEX components.</p></li><li><p>Monitor cost performance against approved budgets and forecasts.</p></li><li><p>Support procurement teams in bid evaluations and cost benchmarking.</p></li><li><p>Generate cost variance reports and recommend cost-optimization measures.</p></li><li><p>Ensure adherence to utility financial governance and audit requirements.</p></li></ul><p>4.
