Key Responsibilities.<br />1. Develop and implement procurement strategies for critical equipment and materials including skids, compressor packages, U-Stamp vessel, piping spools, and other project-related<br />components to ensure cost efficiency, quality, and supply reliability.<br />2. Build and strengthen the supply base by identifying, evaluating, and developing suppliers for fabricated equipment, machined components, FRP items, and proprietary bought-out<br />products, including engagement with approved vendor ecosystems such as EIL-approved suppliers.<br />3. Lead and mentor a team of 3–4 buyers, providing guidance on sourcing strategies, vendor negotiations, supplier development, and procurement planning while ensuring alignment with<br />project and organizational objectives.<br />4. Manage procurement of select strategic categories as an individual contributor, including raw materials and engineered bought-out items such as plates, tubes, pipes, flanges, fittings, gaskets, and specialized equipment.<br />5. Drive supplier quality and cost management initiatives, including cost analysis, fair pricing assessments, supplier performance monitoring, and implementation of Supplier Quality Engineering practices.<br />6. Handle techno-commercial negotiations and contracting, ensuring optimal commercial terms, competitive pricing, and compliance with project and contractual requirements.<br />7. Oversee procurement for both direct and indirect materials, ensuring timely availability to support manufacturing, project execution, and operational requirements.<br />8.
