Job Title: Revit Modeller - Structures
Department: Engineering / Design
Location: Mumbai
Reporting to: Design / BIM Manager
Education & Experience: Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Revit Structural Modelling, preferably on commercial and residential building projects.
Role Purpose
To develop and maintain accurate 3D structural BIM models using Revit, prepare structural drawings and details, and coordinate with design engineers and other disciplines to ensure models and drawings meet design specifications, industry standards, and project requirements.
Critical Competencies Required (Knowledge / Skill / Attitude)
* Strong hands-on experience in Autodesk Revit - Structure.
* Good knowledge of structural modelling and detailing for RCC and/or steel structures.
* Technical expertise in detailing residential and commercial building structures.
* Ability to interpret structural design drawings and convert them into accurate Revit models.
* Good understanding of BIM processes, model coordination and drawing extraction.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD is preferred.
* Strong attention to detail, accuracy and commitment to project timelines.
General Tasks & Responsibilities
* Hands-on experience in 3D structural modelling of residential and commercial building structures.
* Develop and maintain Revit structural models for foundations, columns, beams, slabs, walls, stairs and other structural elements.
* Prepare structural GA drawings, plans, sections, elevations and detailed drawings from design information.
* Extract accurate drawings and schedules from Revit models as required.
* Coordinate structural models with architectural and MEP models and identify / resolve clashes and discrepancies.
* Incorporate design changes and ensure the Revit model and drawings are consistently updated.
* Coordinate with design engineers to understand drawings, specifications and modelling requirements.
* Carry out quantity take-offs / quantity checking from models and drawings where required.
* Maintain project modelling standards, naming conventions, views, families, templates and documentation.
* Review models and drawings for accuracy and minimize errors and unnecessary revisions.
* Provide technical guidance to junior Revit modellers and drafting personnel when required.

* Creation and accuracy of Revit structural models.
* Timely delivery of structural drawings and model outputs.
* Accurate preparation of plans, sections, elevations and structural details.
* Effective coordination with structural, architectural and MEP teams.
* Ensure all Revit models and drawings meet required quality standards, minimizing errors and revisions due to modelling / drafting errors.
* Compliance with project BIM and modelling standards.

Preferred Qualification
* Diploma / Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or related discipline.
* 5+ years of relevant experience in Revit Structural Modelling.
* Exposure to RCC and structural steel modelling will be an advantage.
* Experience in commercial and residential building projects.
