Role:Safety InchargeKey responsibilities
- Policy and program development: Create, implement, and update safety policies, procedures, and programs to comply with local and national regulations.
- Risk assessment and hazard identification: Regularly inspect the workplace to identify potential hazards and conduct risk assessments to determine preventative measures.
- Training and education: Organize and conduct safety training sessions, workshops, and drills for employees to educate them on potential risks and safe practices.
- Incident investigation: Investigate workplace accidents, injuries, and near-misses, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions.
- Compliance and reporting: Monitor adherence to safety policies and regulations, liaise with regulatory bodies, and maintain accurate records of inspections, training, and incident reports.
- Emergency preparedness: Assist in developing and maintaining emergency response plans and procedures.
- Promote safety culture: Foster a proactive safety mindset through effective communication and employee engagement across all departments.
