Position description / Job description- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets within the assigned territory.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the client base.
- Manage sales pipeline and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Prepare sales reports and presentations to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with marketing and distribution teams to implement effective sales strategies.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company at industry events and trade shows.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
- 2-7 years of experience in sales, preferably within the FMCG industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding expectations.
- Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of sales and distribution channels within the West Bengal market.
- Valid driver's license.
