Key Responsibilities
Provide strategic leadership for the overall academic, administrative, and operational functioning of the institution.
Develop and implement long-term institutional goals aligned with the organization's vision and mission.
Promote excellence in education, research, innovation, and skill development initiatives.
Foster industry-academia collaboration and establish partnerships with government, industry, and academic institutions.
Ensure effective governance, regulatory compliance, and adherence to institutional policies.
Lead faculty development, talent management, and organizational capability-building initiatives.
Oversee financial planning, budgeting, infrastructure development, and resource optimization.
Drive focused training programmes that enhance skill development, certification, and employability.
Represent the institution at national and international forums, conferences, and stakeholder meetings.
Build a culture of academic integrity, innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Graduate Degree in Engineering and/or Technology.
Preference will be given to candidates with a Postgraduate Degree in Engineering, Technology, Management, and/or a Ph.D.
Experience
Minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience.
At least 5 years in one of the following capacities:
- Head of an Academic Institution of National Importance, or
- Senior leadership position in R&D establishments, or
- Private/Public Sector Undertakings, or
- Government Organizations.
Demonstrated experience in conducting focused training programmes leading to skill development and certification.
Proven experience in institutional leadership, strategic planning, academic administration, and stakeholder management.
