MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the finance operations for the Hyderabad Global Shared Services Center (GSS) and act as the first point of contact for Finance operations
- Supervise and manage the finance and accounting operations team
- Meet and exceed SLAs for all finance processes managed out of the GSS and measure performance against specified KPIs
- Responsible for growth of finance processes, transitions and stabilization
- Drive the operational excellence framework in Finance operations at the GSS
- Execute the growth strategy for GSS
- Drive process efficiencies and people engagement
- Create a culture of process improvement to enhance process efficiency
- Identify, research, develop and implement improvements to existing systems and processes e.g., RPA, other automations
- Ensure proper risk controls are in place across the organization
- People management – create career path for employees, employee feedback & development, performance management and attrition management
- Build strong relationships with the Global Finance leadership
- Manage/collaborate in global projects and deployments
- Manage/collaborate in mergers and acquisitions
- Collaborate with auditors on audit query resolutions and closure
Education and/or Experience
- MBA / Graduate / CA / ICWAI – Qualified or Semi Qualified
- Overall 14 years to 18 years of Experience, including at least 10 years into Global Shared Services
- Managed finance and accounting operations in Global Shared service environment
- Enterprise software experience required, SAP or Oracle experience required
- Licensure & Certifications- Finance, Project Management, Six Sigma BB / GB a plus
- Exposure to client management and Shared Service Center transitions
