Job Description:
- Plan, create, and manage spare parts orders based on requests from APAC countries.
- Prioritize Code-1 (urgent) orders to support instrument downtime situations.
- Coordinate spare parts' ordering end-to-end from order creation, processing, shipment and delivery.
- Escalate critical delays and implement recovery actions to minimize operational impact.
- Track and manage backorders across APAC, get allocation from source and ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
- Liaise with source to understand supply shortages and expected availability timelines.
- Communicate proactively with stakeholders on backorder status and expected fulfillment dates.
- Prepare and maintain regional reports (monthly), including:
- Inventory cost
- Repaired parts cost saving & missed opportunities
- Track defective parts shipment to source
- Van stock
- Fill rate and service level performance
- Code-1 order performance
- Backorder status and aging
- Parts consumption
- Submit part numbers material extension form to master data team for APAC countries.
- Follow up with master data team on material extension completion.
- Oversee and track movement of spare parts across regional warehouses, depots, and field locations.
- Manage stock transfers, returns, and adjustments within and across APAC countries.
- Perform any other duties and tasks assigned by the supervisor or management team to support service operations and business requirements.
