Duties & Responsibilities: - Review the accuracy of the reporting packages delivered by entities for the
consolidation process and identify ways to improve the efficiency and
effectiveness according to Group IFRS accounting rules.
- Elaboration of Consolidated Financial Statements (analysis of a part of the ...
balance sheet, income statement and/or cash flow) and preparation of the
quarterly earnings release, semi and annual reports like 20F for US filing &
CSSF for European filing
- Close liaison with the various cross functional departments (compliance,
controlling, treasury, tax, investor relations, M&A).
- Primary contact for group external auditors - preparation of necessary
internal Sox supports.
- Participation in various projects launched from time to time at Group
Accounting and Performance Management (GAPM) like local balance sheet
reviews, managing accounts volatility, etc.
- Technical support to financial managers - IFRSEducation: - Bachelor's degree in Finance
- Master in Finance / Accounting
- ACCA qualification desirableSkills & Specifications: - Up to date knowledge of IFRS accounting standards- Knowledge of the "BPM" (SAP Financial consolidation) or any other
consolidation tool is a plus
- Must be able to demonstrate that he/she can work independently, but also
work as part of a team. Must be self-motivated, well organized and a
demonstrated problem solver.
