    Role Summary:

    The Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting sales operations within the assigned territory by facilitating communication, tracking field execution, and coordinating activities between the Group Sales Manager (GSM) /Category Development Manager (CDM) ,  Junior Territory Sales Executives (JTSEs), and trade partners. The role plays a vital part in ensuring availability, visibility, and execution of plans at all levels of distribution network.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

     

    1. Territory Support & Sales Execution .

    •Ensure timely execution of sales and trade marketing activities in the field.

    2. Cross-Level Coordination

    •Act as a liaison between the GSM and JTSEs to ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.

    •Support JTSEs in resolving operational challenges and escalating issues where required.

    3. Performance Tracking & Field Monitoring

    •Monitor JTSEs’ daily market activities and performance against KPIs.

    •Ensure consistent execution of sales fundamentals, including distribution, visibility, and availability.

     

    4. Market Visits & Demand Activation

     

    •Regularly visit L1 (Primary Distributors) to assess stock levels and align replenishment needs.

    •Collaborate with GSM, JTSEs, and trade teams to activate demand-generation initiatives at retail (L2) level.

    •Ensure planogram compliance and visibility execution in key outlets.

            Core Purpose of the Role:<br />The Consultant – CSR will be responsible for planning, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating CSR initiatives related to water,<br />sustainable agriculture, and livelihood enhancement. The role requires close coordination with internal stakeholders, implementation<br />partners, local communities, and government bodies to ensure effective and impactful program delivery.<br />Primary Responsibilities: The consultant will work under the close supervision of the CSR Lead and work on assigned tasks that include,<br />but may not be limited to:<br />Program Planning and Development<br />- Conceptualize, evaluate, and recommend high-impact WAL initiatives aligned with corporate priorities, India’s national indicators,<br />SDGs, and sectoral best practices.<br />- Develop programs based on thorough research and best in class benchmarking.<br />- Ensure that CSR programmes are innovative and scalable.<br />- Support long-term program roadmaps and multi-year planning for WAL interventions.<br />Program Implementation and Partnership Management<br />- Manage, design, plan, and implement CSR programs in the areas of water management, agriculture development, and livelihood<br />generation.<br />- In some cases, drive partner selection, due diligence, onboarding, negotiations, and performance management of implementing<br />agencies and ensure seamless delivery of the programs.<br />- Build and maintain relationships with local government officials, NGOs, and key stakeholders to ensure programs address relevant<br />community needs.<br />- Support plant/zone teams with program scale-up in their respective areas.<br />- Ensure timely execution of programs as per agreed plans, budgets, and timelines.<br />Monitoring and Evaluation<br />- Provide oversight of on-ground program execution through structured monitoring systems and field reviews.<br />- Lead periodic programmatic and financial reviews with partners to track performance and drive continuous improvement.<br />- Monitor program outcomes against defined targets and recommend mid-course corrections as required.<br />- Support impact measurement, learning, and documentation of program outcomes to demonstrate program effectiveness and value<br />creation.<br />Documentation, Reporting and Compliance<br />- Ensure strong governance of CSR programs in line with CSR regulations, internal policies, and ethical standards.<br />- Maintain comprehensive program documentation, including financial and non-financial records.<br />- Lead internal reporting for WAL programs and contribute to global CSR and sustainability reporting requirements.<br />- Lead coordination for internal, statutory, and third-party audits, including closure of audit observations.
