<p>JOB DESCRIPTION  </p><p>Plant Manager  </p><p>Role Summary  </p><p>To lead and manage the manufacturing operations of infection prevention products, ensuring efficient production, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across all plant functions.  </p><p> Responsibilities:  </p><p>•     Plant Operations Leadership  o           Oversee end-to-end plant operations including production, quality, maintenance, supply chain, and EHS.  </p><p>o    Ensure optimal utilization of resources to meet production targets and customer demand.  </p><ul><li>Quality & Compliance  o         Ensure adherence to GMP, ISO, FDA, and other relevant regulatory standards.  o          Collaborate with QA/QC teams to maintain high product quality and safety standards.  </li><li>People Management  o           Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams across shifts.  o          Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous learning.  </li><li>Strategic Planning & Execution  </li></ul><ul><li>Drive operational excellence through lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and automation initiatives.  </li><li>Develop and manage budgets, cost controls, and capital expenditure plans.  </li></ul><ul><li>Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)  o           Champion a zero-incident safety culture.  o   Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability goals.  </li><li>Stakeholder Collaboration  </li></ul><ul><li>Liaise with R&D, procurement, sales, and senior leadership to align plant goals with organizational strategy.  o       Support new product introductions and technology transfers.  </li><li>Vendor management  o Plan, Organize, Direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to exceed internal and external, customer expectations. </li><li>Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards. </li><li>Responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping and allocating resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results. </li><li>Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus. Monitor operations and triggers corrective actions. </li><li>Share a trusting relationship with the workgroup and recruit, manage and develop plant staff. </li><li>Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime. o        Manage plant safety programs to ensure a safe working environment. </li><li>Stay up to date with the latest production management best practices and concepts. </li><li>Prepare and present operational reports to senior management. collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations. Ensure the plant operates with budgetary constraints. </li><li>Responsible for complete administration of the plant including attending and managing of various statutory requirements. </li></ul><p> Requirements and Skills   </p><ul><li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Pharmacy, or related field.  </li><li>A degree in Operations management will be an added advantage.  </li><li>Minimum 14-20 years of working experience and at least 5 years of experience in a plant leadership role.  </li><li>Experience in manufacturing of infection prevention products preferred.  </li><li>Strong knowledge of production systems, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.  </li><li>Proven success in managing cross-functional teams and driving operational excellence.  </li><li>Knowledge of ERP/ SAP systems and manufacturing analytics will be an added advantage.  </li><li>Confidentiality, discretion, and strong decision-making skills.  </li><li>Relevant soft skills like leadership, communication, organization, and critical thinking. <p>General Description                             </p><p>As a Plant Engineering expert you are fully responsible to deliver a fully functional Hydro Power Plant to the customer in accordance with the contract and within the given budget. This critical role commences with the Project Start Phase and accompanies all phases of the till end of Warranty Period.</p><p>You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and address all interfaces and accelerate project timelines while maintaining the highest quality standards. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers and drive continuous process improvement initiatives.</p><p>                                                 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS                                                 </p>Plant Engineering:<ul><li>To deliver a fully functional plant to the customer in accordance with the contract and within the given budget.</li><li>Focus on engineering activities needed in the engineering process and interface management to ensure water to wire plant integration.</li><li>To provide competency and engineering to cover complementary plant requirements.</li><li>To ensure efficient interface management in order to attain a composite plant approach involving our products and customer works.</li><li>The role commences with the “Project Start Phase” and accompanies all phases of the “Contract Execution Process” till end of “Warranty Period”.</li><li>Focus on management of general requirements common for all systems such as definitions of templates on documents, design conditions (e.g. voltage, levels, earthquake requirements</li></ul> <p>etc.), cabling and instrumentation, cubicles in order to attain a harmonized project approach and provide clear boundaries.</p><ul><li>Continuously monitors the interfaces between cross-functions, raises alarms and acts timely to arrest the mismatches.</li><li>Management of General Requirements Common for all Systems, i.e. Issue Design templates, KKS numbering system.</li><li>Issue of guidelines and documents, i.e. Design Conditions, project information, issue cubicle manufacturing guidelines, guidelines for auxiliary devices.</li><li>Execute Division of Work, Design Interface Schedule, plant equipment list, cabling interfaces.</li><li>Conducts Design Review for Overall Plant, i.e Interface Coordination, handling of equipment.</li><li>Review of Documents, i.e SLDs, consumer list, signal list, heat loads, phase sequences, grid codes.</li><li>Management of Design Freeze, design change requests, structure of project end documentation.</li><li>Issue of technical directives to project team from time to time in order to comply with the plant concept.</li></ul><p> </p>Engineering Excellence: Strong technical knowledge of Power Plant preferably Hydro Power Plant including good interface knowledge on Electrical and Mechanical Balance of Plant (EBoP) packages, SCADA, fair knowledge of Turbine and Generator.
