Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Execution
• Translate board-level vision into clear operational plans and KPIs
• Lead cross-functional execution for solar projects (rooftop, utility-scale, C&I, Sales, O&M, Logistics)
• Partner with business heads to align operating plans with growth strategy
Operations & Delivery Management
• Drive on-time, in-budget delivery of EPC and turnkey solar projects
• Oversee supply chain, procurement, vendor management, and O&M P&L and Commercial Ownership
• Drive revenue, EBITDA, and cash flow metrics through operational levers
• Optimize cost structure and working capital across the business
• Ensure internal controls and compliance with statutory & regulatory frameworks
People & Culture
• Lead, inspire, and develop a performance-driven operating team
• Strengthen cross-functional collaboration, transparency, and accountability
• Drive HR alignment in operations, including productivity, safety, and ethics Innovation, Quality & Transformation
• Institutionalize operational excellence
• Leverage technology for workflow, site monitoring, and reporting automation
• Lead ESG & sustainability efforts in operations
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
• Project Delivery TAT & Margin Realization
• Plant Uptime / Performance Ratio (PR)• Cost Optimization % YoY
• Customer SLA & Handover Timelines
• Safety Compliance & Audit Scores
• EBITDA Contribution by Function
• Team Engagement & Attrition
Qualifications & Experience:
• Bachelor’s in engineering; MBA preferred
• 18–25 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure/energy/renewables
• Proven experience in leading 500+ member ops teams across locations
• Deep understanding of solar EPC, project lifecycles, and clean energy ecosystem
