Position: Group Head - Human Resources

The role will be responsible for driving Group HR strategy, leadership hiring, organization development, workforce planning, culture transformation, compliance governance, and HR digitization initiatives across multiple entities and locations.
The incumbent will work closely with the CEO and senior leadership team to build a scalable, high-performance, and future-ready organization aligned with the Group's long-term business vision.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and execute Group HR strategy aligned with business growth and diversification plans.
- Partner with business leaders across 3PL, ICD, and Infrastructure verticals on workforce planning and organizational effectiveness.
- Drive HR transformation and standardization initiatives across all group entities.
- Build scalable HR governance frameworks, policies, and operating structures.
Talent Acquisition & Leadership Hiring
- Lead recruitment strategy across corporate, operational, technical, commercial, and support functions.
- Drive leadership and critical talent hiring through executive search firms and strategic hiring partnerships.
- Build robust manpower planning and succession pipelines for key business functions.
- Strengthen employer branding initiatives across industries and campuses.
Performance Management & Organizational Development
- Strengthen PMS frameworks, KRAs, competency mapping, and performance culture across the Group.
- Drive leadership development, learning initiatives, and capability-building programs.
- Implement organization development interventions to improve productivity and employee effectiveness.
- Design role structures, career paths, and succession planning frameworks
Employee Engagement & Culture Building
- Build a high-performance, ownership-driven, and collaborative work culture.
- Drive employee engagement, communication, and retention initiatives across locations.
- Lead Rewards & Recognition and employee wellness programs.
- Strengthen employee grievance handling and employee relations mechanisms.
HR Operations & HR Excellence
- Oversee complete employee lifecycle management including onboarding, attendance governance, payroll coordination, transfers, confirmations, exits, and HRMS administration.
- Drive HR automation and digitization initiatives across the Group.
- Ensure HR SOP adherence, audit readiness, and process excellence.
- Develop HR analytics and MIS dashboards for leadership reviews and decision-making.
Candidate Profile
Qualification
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institute preferred.
Experience
- 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience.
- Prior experience in logistics, infrastructure, manufacturing, ports, supply chain, warehousing, or industrial businesses preferred.
- Strong exposure to multi-location workforce management and scaling organizations.
- Experience managing both white-collar and blue-collar workforce environments.
