Job Title: HR Manager Department: Human Resources Role Overview: The HR Specialist will support end-to-end HR operations for both manufacturing and corporate functions, ensuring statutory compliance, strong employee relations, efficient HR processes, and alignment of people practice with business growth priorities. Will be reporting to the HR leader. Key Responsibilities HR Operations & Compliance* Manage end-to-end HR operations including employee lifecycle management, documentation, confirmations, exits, and HR MIS* Ensure compliance with Indian labour laws including Factories Act, Shops & Establishments Act, Contract Labour Act, PF, ESI, Gratuity, Bonus, POSH, and Industrial Disputes Act* Coordinate statutory audits and inspections for manufacturing locations* Maintain accurate employee records and HR dashboards Recruitment & Manpower Planning* Handle end-to-end hiring for plant roles (operators, QC, production, maintenance) and corporate roles (Sales, R&D, QA, SCM, Flavour, Application Development & Finance)* Partner with business heads on manpower planning and budgeted hiring* Manage onboarding, induction, and probation reviews Employee Relations & Engagement* Act as a first point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and disciplinary matters* Support development of a positive employee relations climate across teams spread across locations in India and GCC countries.* Drive engagement initiatives, communication forums, and employee connect programs* Support grievance handling, domestic enquiries, and conflict resolution on shop-floor issues * Support performance management process including goal setting, reviews, and documentation* Coordinate training programs related to safety, GMP, POSH, behavioural skills, and leadership development* Track training effectiveness and learning interventions & initiatives aligned to company strategic priorities Payroll & Total Rewards* Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance, leave, and contractor workforce data and work closely with controllership* Support compensation letters, promotions, increments, and internal transfers* Support in managing admin and travel support staff Qualifications & Experience * MBA / PGDM in Human Resources * 6 to 8 years of HR generalist / HR specialist experience * Good understanding of HR operations, employee relations, and recruitment * Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills * Comfortable working in a growing mid-size organization with evolving systems
