Excellent understanding of GD&T, DFMEA, APQP, PPAP, ISO/IATF
Knowledge of manufacturing processes (casting, forging, stamping, welding)
Read and understand the drawings and felicitate techno commercial discussions
Shall know inspection equipment's and inspection methods
Shall have knowledge of assembly processes, Quality tools.
SAP MM module -Basic hands on.
Adept with Tooling development- Manufacturing, costing, lead times.
Basic of costing for suspension systems
Ability to deal with supplier top management
Must have good MS office suite hand on experience
Responsibilities
Act as technical commercial point of contact for suspension suppliers
Work with suppliers, Engineering on design feasibility, tooling, and cost optimization at RFQ and quotation stages.
Lead the suspension development with suppliers
Ensure material availability as per vehicle build plan
Work with manufacturing for prototype builds, pilot production, and SOP readiness
Address Development, production and field issues through root cause analysis (8D, 5-Why)
Coordinate with plant, quality, and supplier teams for issue resolution to ensure vehicle is build flawlessly.
Shall keep track of all development and present weekly development status

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication and stakeholder coordination
Ability to manage timelines and multiple deliverables
Hands-on, detail-oriented, and result-focused mindset
