Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily putaway activities and allocate work to warehouse associates.
- Ensure all packed materials are putaway within the defined timeline.
- Monitor FIFO and location management practices.
- Ensure all materials are scanned and stored in the correct bin locations using handheld devices.
- Coordinate with Receiving, Primary Packing, Inventory and Picking teams for smooth warehouse operations.
- Investigate and resolve putaway discrepancies, wrong binning, and system errors.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts.
- Ensure proper identification tags and labels are available and visible on all materials and locations.
- Monitor warehouse space utilization and suggest storage optimization initiatives.
- Prepare daily MIS reports related to pending putaway, productivity, and inventory accuracy.
- Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Train and guide warehouse operators on putaway processes and system usage.
- Coordinate with IT and Inventory teams for system-related issues affecting putaway operations.
Educational Qualification and Experience
- Graduate in any discipline.
- 3-6 years of experience in warehouse operations.
- Experience in WMS/ERP systems, barcode scanning, and inventory management preferred.
