In this field-heavy, customer-facing role, you will be the driving force behind our growth, managing a dedicated portfolio of accounts and expanding our footprint within the industry.
Role PurposeYou will manage a portfolio of OEM accounts within your assigned territory, ensuring the delivery of volume and NSR targets. This role is perfect for a hands-on professional who excels at developing new business, deepening existing relationships, and navigating the complexities of the OEM onboarding cycle.
Responsibilities- Achieve 100% of personal dispatched volume and NSR targets on a monthly basis.
- Manage a portfolio of 10-15 active OEM accounts, maintaining a structured schedule of 10-15 customer visits per month.
- Prospect, qualify, and convert new OEM accounts, with a target of 5-7 new billing accounts per fiscal year.
- Oversee the full OEM onboarding cycle, including sample submission, trial lots, PPAP documentation, customer audit facilitation, and initial order ramp-up.
- Identify grade development opportunities and collaborate with Quality/R&D teams to develop specifications that secure our supply position.
- Provide weekly market intelligence reports, including competitor pricing, demand trends, and upcoming RFQ opportunities.
- Maintain strict pricing discipline and ensure all purchase orders are verified for accuracy before being transmitted to the Sales Coordinator.
- Partner with dispatch and production planning teams to manage delivery commitments and provide proactive updates to clients.
- Maintain a rolling 60-day order pipeline to ensure consistent growth and conversion tracking.
- Contribute to team success by sharing customer feedback, technical learnings, and competitive insights during weekly meetings.
- Proven experience in account management, specifically within an OEM or B2B manufacturing environment.
- Strong ability to navigate the full sales cycle, from prospecting to successful onboarding and ramp-up.
- Technical aptitude to facilitate grade development and understand product specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of building long-term professional relationships.
- Strong analytical skills for market reporting, pipeline management, and volume forecasting.
- Ability to work independently in a field-heavy, fast-paced environment.
