We are seeking a seasoned Vice President of Engineering to lead and scale our India based engineering organization.This leader will be responsible for driving execution excellence, building a high-performing organization, and ensuring our platform scales reliably to meet the demands of enterprise financial institutions. This role requires a strong operator-someone who has successfully led engineering teams of 100+, and brings deep expertise in process rigor, organizational design, and capacity planning. You will partner closely with Product, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership to translate business priorities into predictable engineering outcomes. Key ResponsibilitiesOrganizational Leadership & Scale* Lead, mentor, and grow a 100+ person engineering organization, including Engineering Managers, Architects, and ICs* Design and evolve org structures aligned to product lines, platform needs, and scale requirements* Build leadership bench strength and succession plans across the organizationExecution Excellence* Establish predictable delivery frameworks with strong planning, estimation, and execution rigor* Drive adoption of engineering best practices across SDLC, CI/CD, release management, and incident management* Improve key metrics such as velocity, quality, uptime, and time-to-market Process & Operating Model* Implement scalable processes for roadmap planning, sprint execution, and cross-functional collaboration* Create a culture of accountability with clear KPIs, OKRs, and operational dashboards* Continuously refine development processes to balance speed, quality, and reliabilityCapacity Planning & Resource Management* Own capacity planning models that align engineering supply with business demand* Forecast hiring needs, optimize team allocation, and manage budget efficiently* Drive data-driven decisions on build vs. buy, outsourcing, and investment prioritization Architecture & Platform Reliability* Partner with architecture leaders to ensure systems are scalable, secure, and resilient* Oversee modernization initiatives including cloud-native adoption, microservices, and platform engineering* Ensure compliance with financial industry standards (security, privacy, regulatory requirements)Cross-Functional Collaboration* Collaborate with Product and Design to align on roadmap priorities and customer outcomes* Work with Customer Success and Support teams to close the loop on production feedback* Act as a key member of the global engineering leadership team
