Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Partnering- Serve as a trusted advisor to the NEW Business leadership team on all people-related matters.
- Translate commercial objectives into workforce planning, talent acquisition, and capability-building strategies.
- Design high impact people strategies and programs that enable talent attraction and retention.
- Provide data-driven insights on headcount, attrition, and productivity to inform business decisions.
- Lead end-to-end talent lifecycle activities: attraction, onboarding, development, retention, and succession planning.
- Oversee performance management cycles, including goal-setting, periodic reviews, and year-end calibrations.
- Partner with recruitment team and hiring managers to drive efficient, high-quality recruitment for the distribution and commercial workforce.
- Manage employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinary processes, and grievance resolution, in compliance with UAE Labour Law and DIFC/Mainland regulations where applicable.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation in countries of operation (with focus on Pakistan, India, Singapore and Dubai) to ensure business practices remain compliant.
- Advise on employment contracts, end-of-service benefits (EOSB), visa and work permit requirements in coordination with the HR operations function.
- Champion values and culture within the NEW Business division.
- Manage employee engagement initiatives, seek employee feedback and drive action plans; track outcomes.
- Support organisational change initiatives, including restructures, role redesigns, and new market entries.
- Maintain accurate HR data and generate regular people metrics reports for the business.
- Partner with HR operations function on payroll inputs, benefits administration, and policy harmonisation across the region.
- Contribute to the buildout of scalable HR processes and systems as the business grows.
Candidate Profile:
Essential- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 2–3 years in a dedicated HR Business Partner capacity.
- Demonstrated experience supporting a distribution, technology, or fast-paced commercial business environment.
- Proven ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Act as a coach and trusted advisor to influence business leaders in the areas of organization effectiveness, change management and capability building.
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable using HR data and metrics to shape decisions.
- Strong communication and problem solving skills; collaborative working style
- Curiosity, business acumen, learning agility, flexibility to juggle multiple priorities concurrently.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- UAE residency or willingness to relocate to UAE.
- Prior exposure to Apple or other OEM distribution ecosystems, channel management, or retail operations.
- Experience working in a multi-country, matrix organisation.
- Familiarity with HRIS platforms
