Experience Required: 12+ years of experience in technical recruitment, specifically focused on hiring Engineering and Research & Development (R&D) professionals within IT/Telecom/Product Engineering organizations.
Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced HR Manager / Recruitment Specialist with a strong background in hiring highly skilled engineering and R&D talent for technology-driven organizations. The ideal candidate should have proven expertise in recruiting software developers, telecom engineers, system architects, and product engineering professionals, particularly in technologies such as C, C++, Linux, networking, telecom protocols, cybersecurity, embedded systems, and enterprise software platforms.
The candidate should possess deep understanding of technical hiring processes, engineering talent pipelines, and niche technology recruitment strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for Engineering and R&D positions.
- Source, screen, and hire highly skilled technical professionals including:
- C / C++ Developers
- Linux Engineers
- Telecom Protocol Engineers
- Embedded System Engineers
- Cybersecurity Engineers
- Backend Developers
- Network & Infrastructure Engineers
- Product Development Engineers
- AI/Analytics Engineers
- Coordinate with technical leadership teams to understand project-specific hiring requirements.
- Develop recruitment strategies for niche and hard-to-hire technical profiles.
- Conduct initial HR and technical screening coordination.
- Manage recruitment vendors, portals, LinkedIn sourcing, and internal talent pipelines.
- Ensure timely closure of positions while maintaining high candidate quality standards.
- Support onboarding, offer negotiations, and employee engagement activities.
- Maintain recruitment MIS, hiring trackers, and recruitment metrics.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong experience in technical hiring for IT / Telecom / Product Engineering companies.
- Good understanding of software development technologies and engineering skillsets.
- Experience hiring for C, C++, Linux, Networking, Telecom, Cybersecurity, Cloud, and R&D environments.
- Strong professional network within engineering recruitment ecosystem
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to assess candidate suitability for highly specialized technical roles.
Preferred Background
- Experience working with Telecom, Cybersecurity, Network Intelligence, Product Engineering, or Deep-Tech organizations preferred.
- Experience hiring for mission-critical or high-performance engineering environments will be an added advantage.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
