The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic HR partner to the Commercial functions (Sales & Marketing) and selected Corporate functions based at Head Office (Finance, Tax, Supply Chain, etc.). The role will primarily focus on HR partnering and Country Talent Management (excluding Talent Acquisition), ensuring strong people outcomes, leadership capability, succession readiness, and organisational effectiveness aligned with business priorities.Key Responsibilities Strategic HR Business Partnering * Develop and sustain strong business partnerships with Commercial and Head Office leaders, acting as a trusted advisor on organisation design, workforce planning, performance, capability building, and change management. * Provide hands-on coaching to managers on performance management, employee relations, disciplinary processes, engagement, and leadership effectiveness. * Partner with leaders on organisational restructures, role clarity, and capability shifts to support growth agendas. Talent Management (Country Owner - excluding Talent Acquisition) * Own and drive the end-to-end Talent Management agenda for India, including: o Talent reviews and succession planning for critical and leadership roles o Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and leadership development actions o Identification and development of high-potential talent * Design and run Management Trainee / early talent programmes, in partnership with the business and Regional HR. * Act as the single-point country interface for regional talent processes and alignments. Talent Acquisition Interface * While recruitment delivery sits with remain accountable for: o Timely fulfilment of business vacancies o Quality of hires and onboarding effectiveness o Strong stakeholder partnership between business and TA * Ensure workforce plans are translated into actionable hiring pipelines. Sales Incentives & Rewards * Partner with Sales and Finance on sales incentive plan design, governance, rollout, and annual cycles. * Support performance calibration and communication of variable pay outcomes. Employee Lifecycle & Experience * Manage the employee lifecycle (excluding payroll and benefits administration), including onboarding effectiveness, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and separations. * Own and conduct structured exit interviews, analyse trends, and translate insights into actionable retention and engagement interventions. DEI & Culture * Act as the Country DEI Champion, driving inclusion initiatives aligned to regional and global priorities. * Champion open communication, employee voice, and a culture of trust and accountability. Policy & Governance * Serve as the Country HR Policy Champion, reviewing, updating, and localising policies in line with business needs, legal changes, and global frameworks. * Ensure consistent interpretation and application of HR policies across functions. HR Analytics & Insights * Lead the creation and ongoing maintenance of HR dashboards covering key people metrics (attrition, capability, succession health, engagement, diversity, etc.). * Draw insights from data and proactively advise business leaders on risk areas and improvement actions. Regional & Cross-functional Collaboration * Liaise closely with the Regional Commercial HR Partner to ensure alignment on people strategy, initiatives, and governance. * Support rollout of regional and global HR initiatives, systems, and platforms across India. Key Capabilities & Experience * A post graduate degree in Human Resources/ Psychology with * Strong HR Business Partnering experience with Sales organisations. * Proven exposure to Talent Management, Succession Planning, and Leadership Development. * Ability to operate confidently with senior stakeholders and influence without authority. * Commercial acumen, data orientation, and comfort with ambiguity. * Knowledge of Indian labour laws and HR governance frameworks.
