- We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead fertilizer sales operations across South and Western Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in agri-input sales, deep understanding of the regional market, and strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and large farmers.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales and revenue growth for our fertilizer product line in the assigned territory
- Develop and maintain a strong distribution network and retail presence
- Identify and onboard key dealers, distributors, and institutional buyers
- Execute go-to-market strategies, seasonal campaigns, and demand generation activities
- Monitor competitor activities and recommend strategic responses
- Conduct regular field visits, product demonstrations, and farmer meetings
- Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and R&D teams to ensure seamless execution
- Prepare periodic sales reports and forecasts
- Minimum 5/10 years of experience in fertilizer or agri-input sales
- Strong dealer/distributor network in South and Western Maharashtra is a must
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Willingness to travel extensively across the region
- Degree in Agriculture, Agri-Business, or related field preferred
