Ensure integrity of reported financial results through effectively understanding and improving as required the accounting systems/processes and internal controls in the organization • Ensure all required government remittances (Direct and Indirect taxes and duties viz. GST, income taxes, custom duties, payroll taxes, equalization levy, etc.) are computed accurately and remitted on time • Own the annual budgeting and ad hoc forecasting processes, including working with sales, global excellence center department leads other departments to gather required information, understanding the expenses of the business, creating the budgeted/forecasted P&L and analyzing the results • Monitor performance including pricing, cost and margin analysis • Cash flow forecasting and management • Research and resolve technical accounting issues for compliance • Complete and/or oversee month end activities, including journal entries, financial statement preparation and analysis and reconciliations • Oversee all statutory audit, tax audit, transfer pricing and other year-end operations • Prepare working papers for year-end income tax return and liaise with external tax accountant as required • Oversee the accounts payable, accounts receivable, manual billing functions, ensuring appropriate controls, processes, measurables, reporting and follow up are in place • Provide advice and support with ad hoc requirements, including contract review, negotiation and management, regulatory review and compliance, business analysis, etc. • Provide overall management and leadership for the finance and accounting tea
