- Coordinate with the internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of the projects within the stipulated time frame.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility especially for the green-field projects.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification/validation techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Weekly reports to the management on the project progress.
- Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- To manage and train the project team members.
- Ensure that all types of clearances, permissions, etc. from the Government Authorities are obtained and are well-documented.
- All applicable laws and rules are adhered and complied with.
- B.Tech/M.Tech - Mechanical Engineering.
- 10-15 years of experience in Projects specialized in erection & commissioning of green-field projects.
- Proven working experience in project management in the Food Industry
- Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in all types of projects.
- Good client-facing with good written and verbal communication skills
- Systems Knowledge is essential with proficiency in AutoCAD/drawings is desirable.
- Experience in overseas projects is preferred though not compulsory.
